Apple Butter Festival at Los Rios Rancho in Yucaipa
NOVEMBER 24-26, 2023
The Apple Butter Festival is a tribute to a 16th century European harvest tradition. Farmers would come together at the end of their harvest season to combine the last of their produce for jamming to preserve their fruit for the winter. It was a way of celebrating the changing of seasons, to say goodbye to autumn and welcome winter. There was always music, dancing, and feasting!
Los Rios Rancho is celebrating the end of their own harvest by stoking the fires under their 100 year old copper pot to cook down the last apples of the season.
This year’s festival features:
- Live Music
- Pumpkin Painting
- Coloring and Kids Crafts
- Cider Tasting Tour
- Autumn Foliage Carriage Tours
- Apple Butter Making
Event is free admission!
